Mountain therapy and addictions. The mountains as a place of health and a space for redemption
May 16 - 10:30 a.m. Famù in the Park (Open map)
A roundtable discussion to present to the public some recent experiences of mountain therapy involving the Addiction Service of the ASL CN1, the Italian Alpine Club, and the Protected Areas of the Maritime Alps.
A short video and a song immediately convey the meaning and power of high-altitude experiences, enjoyed by dozens of people over the years. For them, the mountains are a place where—through beauty and effort—they can find confidence, in themselves and in others, and can become a source of redemption.
A moment of open and informal exchange, a bridge between healthcare professionals, mountain guides, enthusiasts, and Alpine Club volunteers already active in Mountain Therapy or waiting for the right opportunity to roll up their sleeves: new ideas and new energy are always welcome.
Speakers include Carlo Mandrile (ASL CN1, SerD), Elisa Leger (Maritime Alps Protected Areas Park Guide), Irene Borgna (Maritime Alps Protected Areas), and Fabio Pellegrino (CAI Cuneo) will moderate.
