Voices. Dialogues on Alpine Architecture
May 15 - 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM CRC Foundation Meeting Space (Open map)
The Art.ur association, in collaboration with architects Dario Castellino and Alice Lusso, presents three events structured around lectures, roundtables, and public discussions, curated and moderated by Maria Chiara Voci and Carlotta Rocci. The events are dedicated to interior design professionals and, for the first time, are open to the public.
The theme of this third edition of VOICES invites reflection on the concept of boundaries. Borders are not lines. They are spaces where cultures, economies, architecture, and people meet, engage, and can trigger processes of transformation and evolution. This requires overcoming barriers of geographical origin, but also infrastructural, digital, or cultural ones. The event offers a reflection on the theme of boundaries, understood as limits to be overcome in order to seize new opportunities. From this perspective, the new role of medium-sized cities will also be analyzed, as a strategic hub for reconnecting the country, overcoming the dualism between metropolises and inland areas. We will observe the positioning of rural and mountainous areas as laboratories for new ways of living, working, and building communities, sharing experiences and gathering from west to east of Italy, traveling south to the Pyrenees. Many voices, diverse origins, a common vision.
