We dressed like mountain women. InAlto: the Cuneo portal for mountain photography
May 14 - 6:30 pm Hall of Honor of the Municipality of Cuneo (Open the map)
InAlto is a virtual space, created on the initiative of the Cuneo section of the Italian Alpine Club, which collects photographs of mountain enthusiasts from Cuneo.
Archives of local families and mountaineers focusing on the mountains of the Granda Valley, captured in the historical period from the pioneers' shots up to 1974, the year in which the CAI Cuneo celebrates its first century.
Five funds have been allocated at the moment (Allario, Durando, Prandoni, Scotta, Tible), but more will soon be made available to the public, gradually fueling a project aimed at preserving and making accessible a cultural heritage of great value.
The official presentation of the photography portal will be attended by the president of the CAI Cuneo, Paolo Salsotto, the members of the InAlto technical committee—Gianluca Bottini, Daniele Cavedal, Fabio Gianotti, Greta Morandi, Nanni Villani—and the director of the Historical Institute of the Resistance, Gigi Garelli.
